Journey Overview
The “Journey” page in the Gaia Platform provides a real-time view of guests or participants based on their movement through designated areas of an event. Here’s how to use the Journey page effectively:
1. Event, Location, and Occasion Selection

- At the top of the page, you can select the event, location, and occasion you want to monitor. These selections determine what data is displayed and which areas are being tracked.
- Event: Choose the overall event (e.g., Grand Champions League).
- Location: Select the specific venue for the event (e.g., Crystal Park Stadium).
- Occasion: Pick the specific session, match, or ceremony within the event (e.g., Brightwood FC vs. Greenvale Warriors).
2. Areas and Filters

- Areas: The page is divided into multiple sections based on the areas set up in the occasion, such as “Gate 1,” “Nearby,” “VIP Gate,” etc. These areas provide real-time data about the movement of guests or participants.
- Filters: You can apply the filters defined in the “Filter Settings” tab to sort and categorize the profiles. This includes:
- Type: Filter based on the type of person or item (e.g., Worker, Driver, Truck).
- Access: Filter by access level (e.g., Authorized, Unauthorized).
- Status: Filter by status categories (e.g., VVIP, VIP, Regular).
3. Real-Time and Past Data View
- The “Journey” page offers the option to view either real-time data or historical data for a specific time range. You can toggle between these views:
- Real-Time: Displays current data for ongoing activities.
- Historical Data: Allows you to view data from a specific time in the past, with options to filter for 10 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes, or 1 hour ago. This is useful for reviewing historical movements and actions.
4. Sorting of Profiles
- Profiles can be sorted by:
- Name (A-Z): Alphabetically by the guest or participant’s name.
- Status: Based on the status defined in the filter settings, such as VVIP, VIP, or Regular.
By utilizing the journey page, you can monitor and track participants’ movements across different areas and filter data as needed for better crowd management and real-time decision-making.
