How does the Gaia Platform recognize guests, and what are the system requirements for camera integration?
  1. The Gaia Platform uses facial recognition technology to identify guests based on their uploaded profiles. Cameras integrated with the platform need to meet certain specifications:
    • A minimum of 12 FPS (frames per second).
    • Support for Real-Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP).
    • Proper lighting with at least 200 lux.
    • A maximum angle deviation of +/- 15° for facial images.

    In addition to cameras, the platform supports other touchpoints for guest recognition. For example, BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) keycards or tags can be used to identify guests based on their proximity, with a detection range of up to 20 meters. These touchpoints provide seamless and non-intrusive recognition, ensuring a smooth guest experience. What is the difference between an event and an occasion in the Gaia Platform?

Events are overarching activities or gatherings, such as a sports league or corporate retreat, typically spanning multiple days or weeks and involving multiple locations.
Occasions, on the other hand, are specific sessions or activities within an event, such as individual matches or breakout sessions. Each occasion can be assigned to a specific date, time, and location within the larger event, and guest profiles can be linked to these occasions.

What is the purpose of defining geofences, and how does geolocation data access work?
  1. Geofences are virtual boundaries set up within the platform to manage staff and guest activities more effectively. When geolocation data access is enabled for an employee, they can only log in to the Gaia Staff App when they are physically within a geofenced location. This ensures security and relevance, as staff access is tied to their presence in predefined areas, such as stadiums or hotels.
