Location Management

The “Locations” tab in the Admin Console allows you to manage all the venues or places associated with a particular event. Here’s how to navigate and use this feature: 

  1. Accessing Locations
  • On the left sidebar of the Admin Console, click on the “Locations” tab. This will take you to the main locations page where you can see all the existing locations associated with the selected event. 
  1. Viewing Existing Locations
  • All the locations for the selected event will be displayed as cards with an image, location name, and basic contact details. 
  1. Creating a New Location
  • To add a new location, click on the “Add New Location” button located at the top right of the locations page. This will open a form where you can input the details of the new location.

  • Location Name: Enter the name of the new location. 
  • Location Type: Select the type of location from the dropdown menu (e.g., Stadium, Hotel, Arena). 
  • Select Time-zone: Choose the appropriate time-zone for the location. This is crucial for scheduling and time-sensitive activities. 
  • Contact Person Name: Enter the name of the main contact person for this location. 
  • Contact Number: Provide a contact number, including the correct country code, for any communications related to the location. 
  • Email Address: Input an email address for official communication and coordination. 
  • Location Image: You can upload an image representing the location. Supported formats are PNG, and JPG with a maximum file size of 1MB. 
  • Once all the necessary details are filled in, click “Submit” to add the new location to the event. The location will now appear in the list of existing locations. 
  1. Viewing Location Details
  • To view more information about a specific location, click on the “View In Detail” button on the location’s card. This will take you to a detailed page with additional tabs for managing different aspects of the location (e.g., departments, geofences, occasions, floors).
